My Story

As a Latino first-generation college graduate, I value the importance of brands becoming more accessible to audiences from different cultures. Through my liberal arts education, I have gained valuable creative and strategic skills in a variety of advertising and marketing-related internships.

I have helped several clients, companies, and organizations in a variety of different fields including nonprofits, small businesses, larger corporations, and independent events like SXSW. In these fast-paced environments, I managed social media channels like Twitter and Instagram and engaged with the local media through pitching and writing press releases. In essence, I strive to connect unique stories with appropriate brands in efforts to seek their target and potential consumers.

During my most recent position, I was a Marketing Communications Intern at Visit Austin where I collaborated with the marketing team in promoting Austin and raising national and international awareness for the city’s tourism. Additionally, I was also a Public Relations Intern at Sangfroid PR where I implemented various research and digital media strategies that have helped clients gain media exposure.

My specialties include research, community relations, brand management, content strategy, search engine optimization, digital marketing, account coordination, and multi-channel marketing and advertising campaigns.

Because I have recently graduated, I am interested in obtaining any professional networking opportunities that could lead to full-time employment. I am also open to moving to a completely different location if necessary.
